DESCRIPTION:Evergy Plaza offers movie nights like our community has never seen before! The second Friday of each month is Friday Flicks Movie Night! This series of 9 events will take place each month from April – October. Movie Showing is offered on our 30-foot digital screen that towers over the Plaza in the heart of Downtown Topeka. Evergy Plaza hopes to bring families and children of all ages together for a fun\, safe evening of entertainment and community Pride. Each movie welcomes families and young people from Shawnee County and surrounding communities for popular\, classic\, family-friendly movies. Movie nights will be accompanied by a food trucks\, vendors and booth space for sponsors. \n  \nVendors begin at 7pm and the movie begins at 8pm! \n  \nMovie: Men In Black \nAfter a government agency makes first contact with aliens in 1961\, alien refugees live in secret on Earth by disguising themselves as humans. Men in Black (MIB) is a secret agency that polices these aliens\, protects Earth from extraterrestrial threats\, and uses memory-erasing neuralyzers to keep alien activity a secret. MIB agents have their former identities erased while retired agents are neuralyzed. After an operation to arrest an alien criminal near the Mexican border by Agents K and D\, the latter decides that he is too old for his job\, prompting the former to neuralyze him so he can retire.\nEvent Schedule:\n• Doors will open at 7:00pm with vendors\n• Movie beings at 8:00pm
