Protesters march in downtown Topeka for George Floyd

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Protesters gathered in downtown Topeka Monday evening.
This was just one of many protests that have taken place across the country after the death of George Floyd.
Protesters gathered at the Kansas Statehouse, before moving to South Kansas Avenue to march to Evergy Plaza.
Topeka police officers handed out water to some of the protesters before the march got started downtown.
KSNT News has a crew downtown and will be following the protest and other protests planned in northeast Kansas as the night goes on.
